We are pleased to introduce the Taxa Developer Grant Program.

The goal of the Taxa Developer Grant Program is to grow the Taxa ecosystem, foster a dynamic Taxa developer community, and encourage creative applications built with the Taxa platform.

The Program consists of multiple phases so as to help developers to kick start their development journey with Taxa, and by accomplishing the challenges of each phase developers shall earn their chances to receive the award granted by Taxa.

Introducing: Taxa Developer Grant Program — Phase I

Phase I aims at helping developers kick start with the first step of developing with Taxa: set up the development environment, and communicate with tServices.

Awards

Each winner of Phase I will receive 7,000 TXT, until the total award pool of Phase I is all consumed.

Required Development Environment

  • A GitHub account registered before/in 2019. (Note: Certain verification will be conducted to verify the authenticity of the Github accounts. If the Program receives excessive applications, legit accounts with more followers and activities will gain higher priorities.)
  • A Linux machine with Ubuntu 16–18 or Red Hat.
  • Python 2 or 3.

How It Works

Follow these steps to complete the challenge and claim your award:

Step 1: Join Taxa on Discord.

Step 2: Verify your Github account here.

Step 3: Submit an application form followed by the Github login.

Step 4: Complete an entry challenge by setting up the Taxa SDK and sending a tServices request to Taxa Network. Instructions can be found here.

Step 5: Await the award announcement after a successful completion of Step 4 according to the team’s review and judgement.
