Taxa Monthly Highlights for May 2021

Below please find the monthly highlights for May.
Technology
Pyxa:
- Launched the new library development, Pyxa-Ethereum, which includes a series of features: 1) Wallet operations: Key managements, wallet generation and verification, 2) Message signing: Generates Ethereum compatible signatures that can be verified by ecrecover() on Ethereum smart contracts, and 3) Transaction signing: Generates Ethereum compatible transactions that can be broadcast to Ethereum.
Web3 SDK:
- Tested and researched compiling taxa-client (attestation & communication protocols with Taxa nodes) with WebAssembly, creating pure JavaScript-based implementation for browser based tServices;
- Designed and implemented a URI-based transitional solution for browser based tServices.
Taxa Node:
- Listed the Taxa Node’s VM image in the Azure’s shared image gallery for an easy creation of cloud-based Taxa Nodes.
Python SDK:
- Supported one-stop installation of “pip install taxa_sdk”;
- Fixed minor bugs.
Taxa Core:
- Created service daemon to automatically monitor and reboot SGX drivers and related services in case of a node reboot.

Taxa Received Strategic Investment from Gate Labs:
We’re thrilled to announce that Taxa has received strategic investment from Gate Labs. As the latest member of Taxa’s strategic investors, Gate Labs will provide Taxa with full support and resources to co-build and expand the Taxa ecosystem.
The Gate Labs initiative is aimed at talented entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas and the drive to take their startup to the next level. Gate.io Labs will provide entrepreneurs with full support and resources to help them kickoff and grow their startups, as well as facilitate the development of their products and services in line with market demands. The incubator program will provide seed investment to selected projects so that the team can focus on what they do best. Apart from seed funding, support and resources, Gate.io will also have incentives to ensure projects achieve their milestones. Over and above this, the best startups will be listed on Gate.io and will be connected to the GateChain Eco, with premium access.
Taxa Joined PCIC:
We are proud to become the newest member of Privacy Computing In China (PCIC).
PCIC is the first autonomous organization of blockchain privacy computing technologies in the Chinese community, created by 9 founding members including Findora, Oasis Network, CertiK, Manta Network, Phala, Cabin VC, Candaq, Blockchain Committee of Chinese Society of Technology Economics, and Blocklike.
Taxa was voted by the 9 founding members to become the newest member of PCIC, together with Evanesco, Crust Network, Zkchaos, and Secret Network.
Taxa shall team up with the active builders of privacy-preserving computing, advancing the ecosystem with cutting-edge technologies.

To help developers to get started with Taxa, we now started to host online office hours every Friday 11am-12pm PST. Our tech team members will provide tech support and answer tech related questions.
